During the first confinement due to COVID-19, Spain entered a technical stoppage, leaving much of the activity on hold. With consumers in mind, and together with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, we created an assistant to help consumers affected by the state of alarm to resolve their doubts and claim their rights.
The wizard allows you to navigate between more than 120 logical routes to be able to go exactly to the solution that best suits your problem, giving the user (in a simple way) precise instructions on what to do in each case, distributing the cases between the different agencies, entities and structures created to be able to exercise their rights.
At an experience level, we proposed a project with an accessible visual language, which would allow any user to complete a questionnaire, moving away from the typical institutional language of the administration.
Technically, we created a PWA, with a mobile first approach, created on REACT and GITCMS, our own Framework, which is capable of generate static sites from a CMS, generating secure and high-performance sites but with updatable content like a CMS in use.
The reception of the project was very positive, not only did we get a figure close to half a million queries made in the first 30 days, but it also appeared in almost all the national media, both TVs, Internet and written press. It also had rave reviews from fellow professionals on social media, as well as an Awwwards nomination, as STOD.

What a joy to finally see a government website where design and experience professionals have clearly intervened, where flows and casuistry have been thought out, with an attractive and detailed execution, guiding the user step by step... it seems that it can be ❤️ # UXSpain
